For Paneer/Cottage cheese:

You can make it at home or purchase paneer, honestly homemade paneer for rasmalai tastes yummy.

  1. Put the milk packet outside fridge if you want to make it next day afternoon or evening. OR
  2. Bring milk to milk and add 2 tbsp lemon juice wait till milk breaks into paneer, let it cool strain the water and tie in a cloth for 20-30 minutes.
  3. After paneer becomes little hard make small balls and flatten it a little and keep it aside.
For Sugar Syrup:
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 8 cups water
  1. Firstly, take sugar and water.
  2. Boil the syrup for 10 minutes.
  3. After that, drop the prepared paneer balls.
  4. Cover and boil for 15 minutes.
  5. Furthermore, squeeze of sugar syrup.
For Rabri/ Rabdi:
  • 1 litre milk, full cream cows / buffalo milk1 litre milk, full cream cows / buffalo milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp saffron strands (kesar)
  • 6-7 pistachios, chopped
  • 5-7 almonds, chopped
